1. How We Handle Your Financial Data

We adhere to a strict "Local-First" data policy regarding your financial inputs.

  • Calculator Inputs: When you enter your income, expenses, or tax filing status into our calculators, that data is processed locally in your web browser using JavaScript.
  • No Storage: We do not transmit your financial inputs to our servers, store them in a database, or view them. When you refresh the page, your inputs are cleared.

2. Information We Automatically Collect

Like most websites, we use standard log files. The information collected includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, and tracking users' movement on the website.

3. Cookies and Web Beacons

7. Children's Information

Calculate1099 does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
